"Deep Space Ex" is intended to be a sandbox-type game with RTS control elements, large space battles, procedural star systems, and resource management. Players will need to deal with rogue AI, aliens, or pirates in the process. The intention is to make this game hard and very little forgiving for the player

To avoid burdening myself with unnecessary workload and to complete the project within a reasonable timeframe, I have set some project scope boundaries:

• The first version of the game will be single-player only.
• Everything will take place in one solar system.
• The game is 3D with a top-down view, but the world and gameplay area are arranged on a plane, allowing the player to move only along the X and Z coordinate axes.
