"Deep Space Ex" dev report. [nr.6]
Hello, friends!
First, thank you for taking the time to follow the Deep Space Ex project.
I know I should update you about this project more often, but as a solo developer, it’s been a challenge to keep up. I have so many ideas for its development that I can’t physically implement them all. Over the past few months, I chose to focus on working rather than providing updates.
Currently:
- I’m creating a 3D model of a space station. Like the ships, the station will also be modular, allowing customization.
- Developing drone mechanics—unmanned ships that perform basic tasks, such as transporting objects.
What’s been done: To list everything that’s been accomplished and improved would take a very long time, and honestly, I don’t even remember everything! But here’s a summary:
- Improved the logic for small ships. They can now fly and attack in organized groups.
- Revamped and enhanced the mechanics for building large ships.
- Upgraded the 3D models of large ships—they’re now visually better and more detailed.
That’s a quick and brief report on the project’s progress. Of course, there’s much more to share, but I’d have to pause work on the project to list everything.
